Community Wealth Building Fellows: Work with The Democracy Collaborative to help build the democratic economy in the United States!
The Democracy Collaborative is looking to hire two Community Wealth Building Fellows. The CWB Fellows will assist TDC’s Community Wealth Building (CWB) team and our local partners roll out the next phase of transformative local economic development practice through a program of researchand network facilitation to support the advancement of CWB activities across the United States.
These fellowships are full-time and designed to last a year, and will include training in the latest cutting-edge thinking on Community Wealth Building methodology and participation in place-based implementation in select localities in which TDC is working.
Responsibilities
Qualified candidates must be confident and comfortable with policy and research, capable of working independently and as part of a team, and passionate about making real differences to the lives or people and communities experiencing social, economic, ecological and racial injustice. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrable commitment to transformative socio-economic change, and will be creative and flexible and adaptable and open to learning through methods such as appreciative inquiry.
