Jacqueline McLemore
Principal, Lowcountry Phoenix Coaching and Consulting
Jacqueline McLemore is the Principal of Lowcountry Phoenix Coaching and Consulting. For over thirty years, she has supported individuals, diverse collaborators, teams, and organizations as they address compelling organizational and social issues. Her clients include non profit and private sector organizations, education, social justice, health care, and manufacturing.
Jacquie’s curiosity about personal and societal change was seeded in her early years in Mississippi and more fully sparked by her family’s experiences in the wave of the “Great Migration” from Mississippi to Ohio. Interest and curiosity gave way to academic ambition, leading her to receive a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and PhD in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to starting her work as a consultant and coach, Jacquie held higher educational administrative leadership positions at Cleveland State University and internal organizational consultant roles in private sector organizations. She is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Cleveland, and was part of the founding team that designed and facilitated a leadership program for emerging leaders (now Cleveland Bridge Builders).
Jacquie is proud to have worked with organizations focused on using innovative processes to support public engagement with issues central to a democratic society. She is committed to being a part of work that creates structures and relationships for a more economically just and sustainable society.
